Mage SCF1 are simply the best paddles. .

I have owned a Mage ACF1 for 6 months now. From day 1 my game improved substantially. I let 2 others play several games with it and helped them buy their own. They smile a lot now. On vacation I had the privilege to play with my grandson and his daughter with their paddles and bought 2 more for them and get rave reviews from them. They are maybe 2.0 - 2.⁵ players and love how much less swing they need, the large sweet spot an great accuracy since they aren't working so hard. I played with a competitors' s $300+ paddle and felt vague with it. So, get one. You won't regret it!

Great paddle

Introduction The weather finally warmed up enough for me to test this paddle outdoors, which is always my preference. Indoor testing can tell you a lot, but outdoor play reveals how a paddle truly performs—especially on serves, drives, and touch shots affected by wind and ball speed. On-Court Analysis Key Strengths • Spin & Power The Mage SCF1 delivers excellent spin and power—arguably better than I expected—and the spin profile immediately reminded me of the original Mage. On several serves hit down the center line, my opponent assumed the ball was sailing wide. Instead, the sidespin brought it back in, landing roughly 6 inches to a foot inside the service box. If I could only repeat that serve consistently! • Dwell Time & Feel After a few hours of play, the paddle noticeably opened up. Dwell time improved, enhancing both feel and control. In practical terms, this means the ball stays on the face just a fraction of a second longer—particularly noticeable on punch volleys—allowing for more precise placement instead of the ball simply rebounding off the face. • Balanced Performance (Control + Power) This paddle does a great job bridging the gap between control and power. It manages to feel soft and stiff, depending on the shot. On dinks and resets, it feels plush and controlled. On third-shot drops, groundstrokes, and serves, it firms up and delivers power. That dual personality is exactly what many players are looking for. • Customization & Value HUDEF includes useful extras like paddle tape and overgrips, making it easy to fine-tune weight and feel without additional purchases. Fantastic paddle for newer or intermediate players. It offers a great blend of control and power, making it easier to place shots and develop a consistent swing. Makes me a better player

I wanted a paddle that provided both power and spin but wouldn't break the bank. I've played with it twice and I can tell you that this paddle is a great value for the money. It has decent pop but not so much that you lose control. As for spin, I am finding that my topspin shots are diving nicely. I can swing hard with topspin and it will dive into the back line or drop into the kitchen pretty well.
